Through the cooperation of Parish Education, Youth, and the pastoral staff, St. John's offers Confirmation instruction for youth in 8th and 9th grade. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Each class is led by one of the pastors and by one or two adult mentors. The youth gather at 6 pm for dinner, followed by class at 6:30 pm. They explore their faith in depth during these two years. In the fall of their 10th grade year, they affirm their baptism in front of their families and the whole congregation at a special worship service.

For adults who wish to receive instruction in the Christian faith and affirm their baptism, we offer the option of participating in the Christian Ministry of Hope class.
